Student Visa Ireland

Understanding Ireland's Student Visa

Ireland offers two primary types of study visas:

Short Stay ‘C’ Study Visa:

    1. For courses or programs lasting less than 3 months.
    2. Suitable for short-term courses or English language programs.

Long Stay ‘D’ Study Visa:

  1. For courses exceeding 3 months in duration.
  2. Applicable to full-time academic programs at recognized institutions.

Non-EEA students planning to stay in Ireland for more than 90 days must also register with the local immigration office upon arrival to obtain an Irish Residence Permit (IRP)
